On January 31, two Swedish architects will give public lectures on the new forms and concept of the public spaces and buildings.
16:30 – 17:15 — MÅRTEN CLAESSON, Architect and designer, Claesson Koivisto Rune.
"Transparency, clarity, iconicity and symmetry/asymmetry are a few words that come to mind that are present in a variety of projects but also could have a more profound meaning when talking about public/administrative buildings specifically", — highlighted Marten Claesson, when describing the upcoming lecture topic.
Educated at Konstfack University College of Arts, Crafts and Design, in Stockholm, and Parsons New School for Design, in New York. Founded Claesson Koivisto Rune with Eero Koivisto and Ola Rune in 1995.
17:45 – 18:45 — LINDA KUMMEL, Architect, strategy and function manager at ArkDes, Swedens national centre for architecture and design.
Planning architect with focus on sustainability and well-designed living environment. Linda has many years of experience in planning sustainable urban development at a strategic level, including advisory work on urban planning to the Stockholm municipality. Works for the Swedish ArkDes Think Tank, where strategic work within the designed living environment takes place for and with the target group: people who work with architecture, form and design.
